Saxophone Studio Policies 2024-2025
Lesson Term
Lessons take place weekly through the Fall and Spring school semester, as determined by your enrolled ISD.
Payment
Payment is due prior to the start of each lesson.
If payment has not been made by the due date, lessons will not be held until payment has been made.
Payments can be made online (www.james-sterling.com) or by cash/check.
Monthly invoices will be sent out via email the 1st of the month
Invoice can be paid in full or weekly as long as payment is made by the lesson start.
Attendance
Students/families are responsible for knowing and planning for their lesson schedule. No text, email, or phone reminder will be sent to students who fail to show up for a scheduled lesson. Auto-reminders are sent one day prior to all scheduled lessons.
Late Policy: Please email, text, or call if you are running more than 5 minutes late.
Holidays and Breaks
No lessons will be scheduled during your school district’s holidays or breaks.
Lesson Cancellation
24 hours' notice is required for cancellation of a lesson.
Lessons can be cancelled through the online portal (www.james-sterling.com)
Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice and/or no-shows will be billed/charged with no make-up.
Lessons cancelled with 24 hours' notice or more will not be charged, or will be given a make-up/refund if payment has already been made. Make-ups will be scheduled at teacher discretion.
Any lessons cancelled by the teacher will not be charged, or will be given a make-up/refund if payment has already been made.
Assignments/homework/follow-up is not guaranteed for missed or cancelled lessons.
Withdrawal
30-days' notice is required for long-term withdrawal from the studio.
