Saxophone Studio Policies 2023-2024

Lesson Term

• Lessons take place weekly through the Fall and Spring school semester, as determined by your enrolled ISD. 

Payment

• Payment is due prior to the start of each lesson. 

  • If payment has not been made by the due date, lessons will not be held until payment has been made.

  • Payments can be made online (www.james-sterling.com) or by cash/check.

• Monthly invoices will be sent out via email the 1st of the month

  • Invoice can be paid in full or weekly as long as payment is made by the lesson start. 

Attendance

• Students/families are responsible for knowing and planning for their lesson schedule. No text, email, or phone reminder will be sent to students who fail to show up for a scheduled lesson. Auto-reminders are sent one day prior to all scheduled lessons.

• Late Policy: Please email, text, or call if you are running more than 5 minutes late. 

Holidays and Breaks

• No lessons will be scheduled during your school district’s holidays or breaks.

Lesson Cancellation

• 24 hours' notice is required for cancellation of a lesson.

  • Lessons can be cancelled through the online portal (www.james-sterling.com) 

  • Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice and/or no-shows will be billed/charged with no make-up. 

  • Lessons cancelled with 24 hours' notice or more will not be charged, or will be given a make-up/refund if payment has already been made. Make-ups will be scheduled at teacher discretion.

  • Any lessons cancelled by the teacher will not be charged, or will be given a make-up/refund if payment has already been made.

  • Assignments/homework/follow-up is not guaranteed for missed or cancelled lessons.

Withdrawal

•  30-days' notice is required for long-term withdrawal from the studio.
